35 MEI Scholars Started Going to School-Sponsor a child in Nepal

Sponsor a child in Nepal is the motto of free education project run by Maya Education Initiatives. In 2016 new session in school has begun from April. With the new session MEI’s sponsored children in Nepal has reached to 35 in numbers. In this new session, MEI takes 10 more children to attend school as regular as in our calendar. For 35 sponsored children MEI chooses four best schools on the basis of school’s quality education and locality of children. Schools and children details are:

Four earthquake victim child on sponsorship

Four earthquake victim child were sponsored in Kathmandu and sent to Ekata James English Boarding School at Kathmandu, they are:
Prekshaya Tamang
Sameer Lama
Yashodha Tamang and
Aayusha Lama

Three sponsored child’s school has been changed at Thori

MEI’s sponsored children from Thori are being sent to three different schools, as two schools are our old ones only, unfortunately three children had to send to another school due to the distance the child have to walk for more than 2 hours and especially in the rainy season it’s tough for them to cross the river while coming to Thori Academy. So MEI is bound to send them to another school known as Sishya Sadan Primary School at Ekshyanagar, Thori.  The children who are being facilitated in another  school are:
Ramila Thing
Swastika Praja and
Sajan Praja

Similarly, other remaining 28 sponsored children are sent to Thori Academy and Emmanuel Eng. Boarding School.

MEI Three Children came First in Class

In the final examination of 2015 three of MEI’s Scholars came first in their respective classes,  Avimuni bot from a nursery, Asmita Jyoti from UKG and Seema Karmacharya from class five and other remaining passed out the exam with grade A.

MEI’s losses three sponsored child

Likewise, MEI has to give up some children due to their family problems, like as Sagar BK was sent to India by their family members, Rojina BK shifted to another district with her family. Both the case took place due to unemployment of family members, and they had no other option either than to take the bold decision of going to another place for new life.  MEI wishes them good luck for their new life. Our Thori Representative had talk with their families about these children but in the long discussion we could not manage their accommodation even though we managed their food, clothes, schools, medical so in order to fight against this kind of situation MEI is looking forward to build own school in MEI’s own land in Thori very soon!

Like as in Thori, With the beginning of 2016 new session, MEI had to lose another child in Kathmandu also, Seema Karmacharya- who had come to MEI from the homes of Boudha. From this year she was taken aback by her family. MEI TEAM heartily thanks the sponsors of Seema Karmacharya #Daniela_AND_Michael for supporting a needy child in need. MEI team is happy for Seema, after all she got her family back, and we wish her and her family a HAPPY LIFE and BRIGHT FUTUR. In following days if she gets into trouble from her family MEI is always ready to take her back in our MEI family.

MEI is in need of new sponsor

In the case of Sponsor’s too with the beginning of 2016 MEI has to face some drawbacks as well. Since some sponsor had to leave the children due to their financial problems and personal problems. Especially MEI had to lose five sponsors from the USA. Since most of the sponsors were students and they had a visa problem in U.S. The U.S. sponsors are taking the break from MEI till they get stable again. To overcome the economic crises in the charity MEI is in emergency need of new sponsor’s for the children who have lost their current sponsor. MEI hearty thanks all the U.S. sponsor’s who had sponsor MEI children and supported our charity up to now. Our well wish is always with you #DEAR_SPONSORS. Once again, Thank You for believing us, supporting our free education charity and giving the children the gift of education, you will be always in the hearts of our charity #the_sponsors_from_US and #Daniela_AND_Michael

In 2015, MEI was grown up from 10 sponsors to 20 sponsors in Switzerland and it’s due to the generosity of our new sponsors  and hard word of our Europe coordinator Mrs. Sina Tanner. MEI hearty thanks all the sponsors who had sponsored, sponsoring and gladly looking forward to your continued support because of your support the children and their families are gaining back their lost hopes. Because of your generosity, MEI has been able to save 35 children and give the gift of education to 35 children. “You are their hero, father, mother, guardians and life saver”
